Bamboohr is looking for a Belgian Dutch Speech Recording Contributor to join their contract team. What you'll do

Record speech samples in Belgian Dutch following provided scripts and prompts

Read aloud a variety of sentences covering different topics and contexts

Ensure pronunciation and intonation match the target Belgian Dutch dialect

Review your own recordings for clarity, noise, and accuracy before submission

Follow specific recording instructions regarding pacing, volume, and microphone distance

Submit completed audio files in the required format and naming convention

Communicate with the project team to clarify any ambiguous prompts

Participate in test recordings to validate setup and quality standards

Maintain a quiet recording environment that is free from background interference

Adhere to the project schedule and deliver recordings by agreed deadlines

Coordinate with the Bamboohr team to address any feedback on recorded content

Follow ethical guidelines for data collection and participant consent procedures

Follow all data privacy and confidentiality guidelines provided by the Bamboohr team

Participate in periodic quality checks and provide feedback on the recording process

Requirements

Native or near-native fluency in Belgian Dutch is a strict requirement for this role

Access to a quiet, dedicated space for recording speech samples without interruption

A computer or mobile device capable of running the required recording software

Ability to follow detailed written instructions and recording scripts with precision

Reliable internet connection for uploading audio files to the Bamboohr platform

Comfort with reading aloud and repeating prompts multiple times each day

Attention to detail to ensure all recordings meet the required quality standards

Availability to commit to the agreed recording schedule and weekly volume targets

Willingness to complete a brief training or calibration session before starting recordings

Flexibility to adjust recording times based on project needs and team coordination

A professional attitude and reliability in meeting all project deliverables consistently

Nice to have

Prior experience with speech recording or voiceover work in any language is helpful

Familiarity with Belgian Dutch regional accents and dialectal variations across different provinces

Ownership of a professional-grade microphone or recording equipment for home use

Experience working on crowdsourced or freelance data collection projects on digital platforms
