Lucid Motors is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Data Analyst, Service Analytics to join our Service Analytics team. This role will be crucial in providing analytical support to the various teams within Service Organization, and some outside stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing business dashboards, comfortable working with large datasets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document, and deliver analytics solutions. The candidate should have an aptitude for storytelling using data and comfort with ambiguity.
What you'll do
- Analyze Service Supply Chain operations in partnership with operations leaders to define, develop, and continuously improve key performance indicators.
- Gather requirements, document data needs, and extract data from multiple systems to develop solutions that address parts usage, distribution, planning, and warehouse operations.
- Design, build, and maintain business dashboards in Tableau, taking ownership of their quality, reliability, and usability for primary stakeholders.
- Develop process and data flows that streamline business processes, with a focus on merging data from Salesforce and SAP to enable cohesive analytics.
- Write automated scripts to extract data from multiple sources, generating repeatable reports and dashboards that reduce manual effort and improve timeliness.
- Present and communicate analytical findings and business impacts to stakeholders, translating technical results into clear recommendations.
- Collaborate with other analysts to codify best practices around data science, code review, and data reliability across the analytics function.
- Monitor and improve data integrity across analytics pipelines, ensuring that insights used for decision making are accurate and trustworthy.
- Support ad hoc analysis requests while maintaining a structured approach to managing analytics requests and backlog.
- Champion the use of data-driven decision making across the Service organization, influencing stakeholders through clear narratives and visualizations.
- Identify opportunities for experimentation and incremental improvements to existing analytics solutions based on stakeholder feedback and observed outcomes.
- Maintain strong documentation of data definitions, logic, and assumptions to enable reproducibility and knowledge transfer.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Service Analytics, mentoring less experienced team members and elevating the standard of analytical work.
- Drive end-to-end ownership of analytics projects from initial scoping through deployment, validation, and ongoing optimization.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a B.I. Analyst or Data Analyst, with operations background preferred.
- Graduate degree in Business Analytics or related field of study, with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and significant experience in data science.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP for supply chain operations is a plus.
- Highly proficient in SQL and experienced in developing reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
- Strong ability to use Python or other tools for data extraction, ETL pipeline development, and ad hoc analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledgeable in using collaboration tools such as Git repositories, JIRA systems, and version control practices.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Aptitude for storytelling with data and comfort with ambiguity when defining problems and success metrics.
About the role

You will translate ambiguous business questions into clear analytical plans and turn complex operational data into actionable insights.
