Lucid Motors is seeking a highly experienced Senior Global Supply Manager (Sr. GSM) to lead Accessories sourcing activities for the Global Service organization. This role is responsible for the end-to-end commercial ownership of vehicle accessories - including supplier strategy, cost management, sourcing governance, and lifecycle execution - from concept through launch and sustained production. This role requires strong strategic judgment, deep supplier expertise, and the ability to balance premium brand expectations, cost discipline, scalability, and speed to market.

What you'll do
Drive the global sourcing strategy for vehicle accessories such as floor mats, cargo solutions, covers, adapters, and lifestyle offerings.
Translate business intent into a supplier selection strategy, defining models that may include make versus buy, single compared to dual sourcing, and regional against global supply structures.
Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to align supplier capabilities and establish precise cost targets that support product ambition.
Lead the RFQ process, manage supplier down-selection, and formulate data-backed business award recommendations.
Own the independent negotiation of complex commercial terms, covering piece price, tooling, NRE and EDT, minimum order quantities, lead times, and warranty arrangements.
Manage the full lifecycle of Accessories-related Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, and long-term commercial agreements.
Act as the primary commercial escalation point for accessories suppliers, ensuring issues are resolved with clarity and accountability.
Champion supplier commercial compliance with Lucid policies and accessory business requirements across all engagements.
Partner with Supplier Quality Engineering and Engineering on APQP, PPAP, Run@Rate, and launch readiness for accessory programs.
Verify that Accessories suppliers consistently meet defined quality standards, timing commitments, and brand expectations throughout development and production.
Oversee end-to-end lifecycle management for accessories, including pursuing cost reductions, managing running changes, enabling dual sourcing, and planning for end-of-life strategies.
Coordinate smooth transitions from development into series production and service sustainment, ensuring continuity and performance.
Monitor supplier performance metrics, risk indicators, and cost structures to inform strategic decisions and safeguard value.
Champion cross-functional collaboration with Service Operations, Planning, and Logistics to align accessories supply with demand and operational realities.
Requirements
Bring a proven track record of end-to-end sourcing and supplier management within the automotive or premium consumer goods industries.
Demonstrate deep expertise in global supplier strategy, negotiations, and lifecycle ownership for complex commercial programs.
Show strong experience in managing relationships with multiple suppliers across regions while balancing cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data, assess risk, and make sound decisions under uncertainty.
Exhibit strong leadership and influence, working effectively with cross-functional stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
Have a history of driving results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment where agility, ownership, and accountability are essential.

Nice to have
Experience in high-volume automotive supply chains and with direct material, indirect, and service-focused sourcing environments.
Demonstrated success in developing and managing supplier relationships globally, including strategic negotiations and lifecycle programs.
Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and production launch methodologies within a regulated environment.
Experience leveraging data and analytics to guide sourcing decisions, supplier evaluation, and performance management.
Background in sustainability and responsible sourcing practices within complex supply chains.
Practical notes
This is a full-time position based in Newark, California.
The role may require travel to domestic and international locations, including manufacturing and supplier sites.
