You will own the end-to-end scheduling lifecycle for assigned projects using Primavera P6, ensuring timelines remain realistic, actionable, and aligned with client expectations. You will act as the central scheduling authority, interfacing directly with project management, client management, and field supervisors to collect progress, update models, and validate data integrity. In this capacity, you will analyze schedule impacts, forecast trends, and clearly articulate risks or opportunities to diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels. You will drive proactive schedule control by performing detailed time impact analyses for change orders and documenting rationale for every adjustment. Your work will ensure that the project team maintains a current, reliable baseline that supports decision-making and accountability. You will champion adherence to project management standards while fostering a collaborative environment that values transparency and continuous improvement. What you'll do
Develop, maintain, and analyze detailed project schedules in Primavera P6, incorporating resource loading and accurate tracking of actual progress.
Collaborate closely with project managers and site personnel to gather progress data, validate updates, and align schedule status with field realities.
Identify schedule risks and evaluate potential impacts to the critical path, proposing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
Produce regular status reports, forecasts, and executive summaries that communicate schedule health and upcoming milestones to stakeholders.
Track changes in scope, sequencing, and constraints, adjusting schedules promptly to reflect approved project modifications.
Perform time impact analysis to quantify effects of delays, disruptions, and change orders on project timelines and commitments.
Ensure all schedule development and updates comply with established project management standards, controls, and documentation requirements.
Participate actively in project meetings, providing scheduling insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations to support informed decisions.
Maintain version control, issue logs, and baseline documentation to ensure auditability and clarity of schedule records.
Support the development of lookahead schedules that guide near-term field activities and resource deployment.
Validate logic relationships and date-driven constraints to prevent unrealistic sequencing or over-constrained activities.
Coordinate with estimators and cost control teams to reconcile schedule assumptions with contract financials and payment milestones.
Assist in the preparation of schedule-related deliverables for client reviews, audits, and project closeout activities.
Promote best practices in scheduling discipline across the project team, encouraging consistent use of tools and processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance schedule accuracy, reliability, and integration with project workflows.
Requirements
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to interact and multitask with project teams, clients, and site personnel at all levels.
Possess robust computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling platforms.
Bring prior experience working in construction environments, with a focus on electrical systems and data center projects.
Show competence in all Microsoft products and hands-on experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
Exhibit a strong work ethic, superior organizational abilities, and excellent communication skills under varying project demands.
Display willingness to work both in office and field settings, adapting to a high-production, fast-moving operational pace.
Hold a valid driver's license and provide proof of insurability if driving is required, accepting that all drivers may be subject to background record checks.

Earn a Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline, or demonstrate equivalent professional experience.
Possess a minimum of 1 to 5 years of professional experience as a Project Scheduler with verified Primavera P6 expertise.
Highlight electrical and data center project experience as a distinct advantage in understanding complex systems.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of project scheduling principles, logic, and best practices.
Show technical mastery of Primavera P6 functionality, including structure, codes, and reporting capabilities.
