Overview and purpose
This role serves as the Project Manager for mechanical and structural work within select commercial and industrial segments. You will own the full project lifecycle for mechanical and structural scopes, operating in data center and power generation environments. Your primary responsibilities include driving schedules, protecting budgets, and maintaining clear communication with clients. You will lead cross-functional teams and convert complex project requirements into dependable results. The position reports to the Area Manager and operates under an exempt, full-time employment arrangement based in Greenville, Texas.
Compensation and work details
The position offers an annual compensation of $120,000.00. Engagement is full-time, and the role is classified as Exempt. The worksite location is Greenville, Texas, where you will represent Loenbro in supporting critical infrastructure projects across the South region.
Key responsibilities
You will orchestrate large scale builds from intake to handover while guiding cross-functional teams on mechanical and structural activities. Championing safety and environmental compliance is essential for every task performed on site. You will estimate timelines and resources to ensure that critical path plans remain realistic and transparent. Guiding subcontractors and crews to hit milestones without compromising quality or contract terms is a core duty. Tracking budgets and forecasts will help keep projects financially sound from initiation through closeout. Maintaining client trust through consistent updates and responsive problem solving will define your stakeholder interactions. You will verify that deliverables meet specifications before work progresses to subsequent phases. Partnering with procurement and logistics will ensure tools, materials, and equipment are available when required.
Daily focus includes supervising the daily work of employees, including Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Project Coordinators. You will verify conformance of finished work product and ensure compliance with all contractual requirements. Ensuring that all employees understand and follow company safety and work rules and policies is mandatory. Coordination of labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources with internal teams and other Loenbro entities will support timely project completion.
Required background
Holding a degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent practical experience is required. You must bring a minimum of three years of experience managing industrial or commercial construction projects. Demonstrating two years of experience as a Project Manager focused on mechanical scope is necessary for this position.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with HCSS Heavy Job or comparable job costing systems is preferred. Familiarity with P6 or similar scheduling platforms for managing complex timelines is advantageous. Experience with Viewpoint or similar account management software is preferred. Having used Heavy Bid or similar estimating tools to price mechanical work is also preferred.
Tools and systems
You will utilize HCSS Heavy Job for job costing and financial tracking. P6 will be used for schedule management and critical path analysis. Viewpoint will support account and project information handling. Heavy Bid will assist in estimating and pricing mechanical activities.
