This General Superintendent position represents a full-time opportunity in the West Region. The compensation package offers an annual salary of $120,000.00. The role is classified as Exempt. Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Successful candidates bring 3-5 years of experience managing field teams and supervising craft resources within construction.
You will own West Region execution from intake through completion, collaborating closely with clients and trade partners. You will manage field teams, uphold rigorous safety standards, and advance complex projects. Daily responsibilities involve balancing scope, schedule, and personnel to maintain project momentum. You will serve as the primary technical authority and operational leader for regional projects.
Key Responsibilities
You will steer craft resources and field leadership teams to ensure West Region projects remain fully staffed and on schedule. You will enforce company safety policies, conduct inspections, and maintain strict regulatory compliance. You will guide project planning, budgets, forecasts, and procurement coordination to control costs and meet timelines.
You will manage contract documents, RFIs, and constructability reviews to ensure alignment with specifications and client objectives. You will coordinate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and sustain strong partnerships. You will drive weekly look-ahead planning and schedule management to prepare teams for efficient execution.
You will verify field execution against plans, modifying methods and resources to protect delivery quality. You will close projects by reviewing outcomes, capturing lessons learned, and preparing teams for future assignments. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.
Requirements
You hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline. You bring 3-5 years managing field teams and supervising craft resources in construction. You understand contract terms, construction drawings, specifications, and manufacturer data. You can read and interpret RFIs, submittals, and inspection documents under tight timelines.
You possess thorough knowledge of safety regulations, quality control programs, and industry best practices. You can handle multiple complex projects while communicating clearly with leadership and partners. Experience in critical electrical, mechanical, structural, underground, or fabrication markets is valued.
You demonstrate proficiency with MS Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office, ServiceMax, Aconex, Procore, Bluebeam, and Revit. You will Locations
This position operates across multiple states in the Western United States. Key locations include Colorado; Idaho, United States; Montana; Nevada; Utah; and Wyoming. The role requires travel to various project sites throughout these regions. You will work closely with regional teams to ensure consistent execution and support.
