Position Overview
The Electrical Superintendent role is responsible for planning, scheduling, employee oversight, and management of industrial mechanical construction projects up to $10M in value. The position assists the Project Manager in coordinating activities of employees engaged in the construction process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and specifications. It also supports craft supervision in coordinating workers on industrial projects.
Location and Employment Details
Position location is Nebraska, requiring onsite presence. The role is full-time and classified as non-exempt. The position reports directly to the Area Manager within the Midwest Business Unit/Department.
Compensation and Work Arrangement
The compensation for this role is $85,000.00 per year. The engagement is full-time, and the incumbent is expected to follow standard work schedules as determined by project needs.
Primary Responsibilities
Review project schedules with Superintendents and Foremen to ensure critical activities and decisions remain on schedule for the project management team. Oversee field-specific activities for industrial construction projects from setup through closeout across sectors such as energy, power, mining, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical. Document project field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule, and communicate these to the project management team. Respond to subcontractor requests related to field issues affecting budget, quality, or schedule, providing timely guidance. Supervise the daily work of employees to ensure execution aligns with plans and standards. Verify conformance of finished work product, including oversight of compliance with all contract requirements. Ensure all safety and environmental requirements are satisfied throughout all project phases. Coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources with project teams and other Loenbro entities to support timely, cost-effective project completion.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a valid Electrical Journeyman License as proof of trade capability. A preference is given to those with Engineering or Construction Management degrees. Minimum of eight years of experience in industrial and commercial project execution is required. At least five years of experience in a leadership role overseeing mechanical craft trades is necessary. Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products is mandatory. Completion of OSHA 30 or an equivalent safety certification is required.
Preferred Experience
Experience in fabrication, inspection, underground maintenance, and soft crafts is considered a strong advantage for this position.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and possession of an OSHA 30 certification are essential for success in this role.
