About the role

You oversee the quality control function for electrical installations, ensuring all work meets strict project standards and client specifications. You own the development and execution of QC procedures specific to electrical systems within the South

Mission Critical business unit. You partner directly with project managers and superintendents to resolve quality issues before they impact project delivery or safety. You are responsible for mentoring and guiding the QC electrical team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to best practices. You analyze quality metrics and trends to identify root causes and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence. You ensure all documentation, testing records, and inspections are accurate, complete, and compliant with project and regulatory requirements. You act as the primary technical authority on electrical quality matters for your assigned projects and regions. You collaborate with engineering and safety teams to promote best-in-class quality standards across the lifecycle of mission-critical builds.

What you'll do

Establish and maintain rigorous quality control processes for electrical installations and systems across project sites.

Perform comprehensive reviews of electrical work packages, test plans, and inspection checklists for completeness and accuracy.

Lead independent inspections and audits of installed electrical equipment, wiring, and systems to verify compliance with specifications.

Track and analyze quality metrics, defect rates, and rework trends to drive targeted improvements in field execution.

Partner with project leadership to define quality gates and acceptance criteria for each major electrical milestone.

Investigate non-conformances and lead root cause analysis sessions to determine corrective and preventive actions.

Mentor and develop a team of electrical QC technicians, providing guidance, feedback, and professional growth opportunities.

Coordinate closely with project managers, superintendents, and field engineers to resolve quality issues promptly and efficiently.

Ensure all quality documentation, test records, and inspection reports are filed, accessible, and aligned with project controls.

Promote a safety-first mindset within the electrical QC function, reinforcing safe work practices during inspections and audits.

Support the implementation of new quality tools, technologies, and procedures to enhance detection and prevention of defects.

Represent the QC function in cross-functional meetings, providing objective data and recommendations to support decision-making.

Champion a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement across all electrical quality activities.

Serve as the key point of contact for stakeholders regarding electrical quality status, issues, and performance reporting.

Drive the adoption of standardized QC practices to improve consistency and reliability across Loenbro projects.

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

Must possess a minimum of five years of progressive experience in electrical quality control within construction or engineering environments.

Must have a proven track record of managing electrical QC activities for mission-critical or complex technical projects.

Must demonstrate strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and relevant industry standards and codes.

Must be proficient in using quality management tools, testing equipment, and inspection checklists specific to electrical work.

Must have experience developing QC procedures, checklists, and inspection protocols for electrical disciplines.

Must possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with attention to detail.

Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven construction environment.

Nice to have

Experience with critical infrastructure projects such as data centers, healthcare facilities, or mission-critical commercial builds.

Familiarity with project management software, quality management systems, and BIM-related tools for electrical coordination.

Understanding of safety management systems and how QC interfaces with integrated safety processes on construction sites.

Practical notes

This is a full-time position based in Dallas, TX.

The role may require travel to project sites as needed within the assigned service region.
