This position is responsible for managing employee benefits with precision, ensuring seamless enrollment, strict compliance, and clear communication for all participants. You will serve as the primary contact for benefits-related questions, handling complex situations with accuracy and professionalism. The role requires close collaboration with HR, payroll, and external service providers to maintain efficient operations and high service standards.

Compensation: $26.63 to $30.66 hourly
Key Responsibilities
You will manage the full lifecycle of employee benefits, overseeing new hire enrollments, life event changes, and termination processing with meticulous attention to detail. Your work will ensure that coverage remains accurate and consistent across all plans.
You will respond to employee inquiries regarding eligibility, coverage details, claims status, and procedural steps, providing clear and timely information that enhances the employee experience. You will own open enrollment activities, including communication planning, system configuration, and coordination with vendors to ensure timely execution.
You will reconcile monthly benefit invoices, validate calculations, and work directly with payroll to confirm accurate deduction application. This function supports billing integrity and prevents discrepancies across payroll cycles.
You will collaborate with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators to address issues, monitor service levels, and resolve disputes efficiently. You will track regulatory updates at the federal, state, and local levels, ensuring that all benefits programs remain compliant with current laws and rules.
You will assist in administering leave programs, including FMLA and related initiatives, maintaining thorough documentation and procedural consistency. You will prepare audits, generate reports, and compile necessary documentation for internal review and regulatory requirements.
Core Requirements
You must hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. You will demonstrate strong organizational abilities and disciplined document control, even in fast-paced and changing environments.
You will show advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, using these platforms to manage data, communicate clearly, and streamline tasks. You are fully bilingual in speaking and writing, enabling effective daily interactions with employees and partners.
You will bring 2+ years of HR administrative experience, with background in construction, engineering, or project-based settings preferred. You have working knowledge of labor compliance, payroll practices, and employment regulations, applying this understanding to support accurate and lawful operations. You are experienced with HRIS systems and benefits administration platforms, using these tools to maintain data integrity and support decision-making.
