What you'll do
You will guide daily entries from crews into the timekeeping system correctly. Each hour worked must be assigned to proper job codes and phases to ensure accurate reporting. You will chase supervisors to meet submission windows and prevent payroll delays. Before payroll runs are finalized, you will confirm records for completeness. When timing mismatches occur, you will trace these with teams to fix missing or duplicated entries. You will update rosters, shifts, and system permissions when crew assignments change. Daily summaries and weekly labor tables will be distributed to project stakeholders. You will audit datasets to spot patterns that risk compliance or payment issues. You will coach staff on tools, rules, and expectations for consistent time capture. You will improve workflows and forms so data moves smoothly from site to payroll.
Requirements
You hold a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred. You bring two years in timekeeping, payroll support, or administrative roles, with construction experience valued. You speak Spanish, which helps communication with diverse crews. You understand job costing, labor tracking, and basic payroll concepts. You handle Microsoft Excel and standard office tools with ease. You notice small details that others might miss. You are able to work within established policies and procedures without deviation. You maintain confidentiality regarding personnel and payroll information at all times. You demonstrate reliability and consistency in meeting daily and weekly reporting deadlines. You are authorized to work in the United States and do not require sponsorship for this position.
