About the role

The Front End Developer at Lingaro Group is responsible for owning the complete lifecycle of user interface components from initial conception through deployment and maintenance. You will translate complex design systems into intuitive and responsive web experiences that meet strict usability standards. What you'll do

• Execute the development of user interfaces by crafting efficient, reusable, and reliable code components.
• Architect and build robust applications using React and Next.js to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimize application speed and scalability to guarantee the highest levels of performance and responsiveness.
• Diagnose and resolve intricate bottlenecks and bugs, devising strategic solutions to mitigate complex technical issues.
• Implement and refine code quality standards to ensure the integrity and maintainability of the software product.
• Actively contribute to sprint planning by participating in agile team scrums and communicating task status, roadblocks, and timelines.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, QA engineers, and onshore and offshore developers to manage the full lifecycle of mobile web and desktop applications.
• Develop and maintain distributed microservices that are scalable and resilient in production environments.
• Leverage expertise in semantic HTML to build accessible and standards-compliant web applications.
• Utilize advanced proficiency in CSS frameworks and preprocessors such as Tailwind, Styled Components, CSS Modules, and SASS to create dynamic styles.

Requirements

• Bring + years of professional experience in software development to the table.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively articulate ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Show great ownership of assigned tasks with a self-driven and proactive approach to project completion.
• Possess strong experience in JavaScript and TypeScript to write complex logic and robust applications.
• Show a thorough understanding of React and Next.js core principles, including React router, hooks, and Redux workflows.
• Apply knowledge of web performance optimization and security best practices to protect and enhance user applications.
• Engage in the development and maintenance of modern distributed microservices architecture.
• Operate comfortably within cloud environments, with a demonstrated preference for Google Cloud Platform.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot high-volume web services using standard API protocols and data formats like REST and JSON.
• Establish a solid foundation in data structures and algorithms and implement them effectively in JavaScript.
• Exhibit expertise in semantic HTML to ensure clean and meaningful document structure.
• Demonstrate proficiency in CSS technologies, including Tailwind, Styled Components, CSS Modules, and SASS.
• Utilize browser-based debugging tools to inspect and optimize applications during development.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in Front-end development with Docker adds significant value to the workflow.
• Experience with Headless CMS platforms, preferably Contentful, is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with NodeJS enables full-stack contributions and better integration.
• Knowledge of GraphQL enhances data querying efficiency and flexibility.
• English language skills at a B2+ level facilitate clear communication and collaboration.
