About the role
Life360 is looking for a Senior People Operations Coordinator to join its growing team on a fully remote basis within the United States. This role serves as a central point of contact for internal people-related workflows, ensuring that employee data, policies, and operational processes run smoothly across the organization. The coordinator will partner with HR business partners, leadership, and cross-functional teams to uphold a positive employee experience and maintain compliance with employment regulations. This position carries meaningful ownership of day-to-day people operations and contributes directly to the scalability of the company's people infrastructure.

What you'll do
Manage employee records and ensure all personnel files are accurate, current, and stored in accordance with company policy.
Coordinate the full lifecycle of new hire onboarding, from offer acceptance through first-week orientation and 90-day check-ins.
Support offboarding processes by conducting exit interviews, revoking system access, and processing final administrative tasks.
Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including open enrollment periods and eligibility inquiries.
Serve as a primary contact for employee questions related to policies, procedures, and workplace guidelines.
Prepare and maintain reports on headcount, turnover, attendance, and other workforce metrics for leadership review.
Collaborate with the recruiting team to ensure a smooth transition from candidate offer to active employee status.
Help coordinate company-wide events, all-hands meetings, and employee recognition programs across distributed teams.
Monitor and update internal HR documentation, including handbooks, policy guides, and standard operating procedures.
Work with finance and payroll teams to resolve discrepancies in time tracking, leave balances, and compensation records.
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives by helping organize relevant programs and tracking participation data.
Identify opportunities to improve people operations workflows and recommend process enhancements to the HR leadership team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required.
A minimum of five years of experience in people operations, HR administration, or a comparable coordination role.
Demonstrated proficiency with HR information systems and employee database management tools.
Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations relevant to a remote workforce.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all organizational levels.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and a consistent track record of maintaining accurate, confidential employee records.
Experience supporting onboarding and offboarding processes for teams of varying sizes is essential.
Nice to have
Familiarity with Life360's product ecosystem and the family safety technology space is a plus for this role.
Prior experience working with a fully remote or distributed team structure and understanding the unique challenges involved.
Certification in human resources, such as SHRM-CP or PHR, would strengthen an application.
Background in building or improving HR operational processes from the ground up in a startup or high-growth environment.
