A Technical Solutions Specialist serves as the central expert for intricate technical escalations, operating at the intersection of software, product development, and real-world field experiences. Your primary mission is to move beyond simple incident resolution by analysing system behaviour, uncovering root causes, and translating insights into durable improvements that enhance system performance for the future. The position demands a unique blend of deep technical investigation and direct field impact where you will work hand-in-hand with Product Development teams and regional offices worldwide. What you'll do
- Provide expert support to international colleagues for complex technical escalations, primarily through remote analysis and guidance.
- Participate in a continuous on-call schedule to respond to critical situations globally at any time.
- Analyse system behaviour and detailed incidents to uncover underlying root causes across software, hardware, and processes.
- Identify recurring issues and translate these patterns into concrete recommendations for product and process enhancements.
- Collaborate with Product Development and other stakeholders to implement and validate structural improvements.
- Share knowledge and mentor colleagues, enabling them to independently analyse and resolve complex technical issues.
- Actively contribute to refining team processes and the wider Business Team Milking organisation.
- Work across multiple disciplines, contributing to projects focused on testing and validating new solutions in pre-production environments.
- Investigate and diagnose intricate system failures using structured methodologies and data analysis techniques.
- Document findings, solutions, and improvements in a clear and accessible format for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design, test, and roll out fixes that address systemic issues.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to elevate the technical capabilities of support and engineering colleagues.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and iterate based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for technical support and system reliability.
- Engage with the global support network to ensure consistent service quality and information sharing.
- Analyse trends in incident reports to predict potential future issues and prevent them proactively.
- Support the testing of new features in controlled environments before deployment to production systems.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders during reviews and discussions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency of support processes.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline, such as Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- A broad interest in technology and a desire to explore various domains, including software, hardware, and process optimisation.
- Experience gained within a project-based environment, from internships, traineeships, or professional work.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in an international setting with diverse stakeholders.
- A passion for problem analysis, solution development, and teamwork across global regions.
- The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and quickly master new topics to achieve thorough understanding.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Willingness to travel internationally on an occasional basis.
- A methodical approach to troubleshooting and a strong attention to detail.
- The resilience to manage high-pressure situations and maintain focus during critical incidents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting processes and interacting with global teams.
- The capability to understand complex software architectures and their interactions with hardware systems.
