About the role
Technical Service Support for Milking Robots
This role positions you as the technical authority for our automatic milking solutions. You will partner with Lely Centers to resolve complex issues, enhance technical capabilities, and guarantee optimal system performance. Collaboration with field technicians, customers, and Lely International drives product and service evolution.
Your Core Responsibilities
You will manage intricate technical cases from initiation to resolution via telephone, remote access, and ticketing platforms. Leading educational initiatives, you will conduct technical training sessions and practical workshops to elevate the proficiency of Center technicians. You will support installation, setup, and resolution of issues related to milking hardware and herd management software when specialized knowledge is necessary. Field visits form part of your duties, where you will perform technical evaluations, verify system functionality, and assist technicians during crucial operational procedures. You will rigorously assess new products and features, delivering organized feedback to international teams to propel innovation. Disseminating proven methodologies and technical insights across the Lely Center network will standardize excellence. A monthly commitment to the global hotline ensures urgent technical assistance for field personnel. You will also travel to the Netherlands or regional hubs for professional development, strategic gatherings, and cross-border initiatives.
Your Qualifications
Possess a Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, Computer Science, or an equivalent discipline, with 2-3 years of technical service experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field qualifies candidates without prior work history. A solid grasp of electrical theory and systematic diagnostic techniques is essential. Professional communication in English, both written and verbal, must be fluent. You will work comfortably with mechanical components and software applications. Proficiency with digital diagnostic tools is required. Foundational programming skills are a distinct advantage. Familiarity with agricultural processes or dairy contexts is beneficial but not compulsory.

Our Offerings
You will enter a full-time position with a gross annual salary between €28,000 and €32,000, calibrated to expertise and autonomy.
