Leapsome is seeking a self-driven Sales Development Representative Outbound NA to join the North America team and establish the initial sales motion for the region. You will be instrumental in validating the market fit of the platform by initiating conversations with prospective clients who match the ideal customer profile. This position requires a high degree of ownership where you will design the outreach strategy, refine the messaging, and iterate based on real-time feedback from the market. You will work closely with the product and marketing teams to ensure that the value proposition is clearly communicated and resonates with HR leaders. The role is suited for a proactive individual who thrives in an environment with minimal structure but high expectations. You will have the opportunity to directly influence the growth trajectory of the company in its early stages in North America. What you'll do
Research and analyze target accounts to build a prioritized list of high-value prospects for outbound engagement.
Initiate contact with decision-makers using a consultative approach that focuses on understanding their current HR challenges and objectives.
Develop and test multiple outreach sequences to identify the most effective messaging and channel combination for generating responses.
Qualify leads based on organizational fit, budget authority, and timeline to ensure the sales team focuses on opportunities with the highest probability of conversion.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to provide feedback on campaign performance and refine targeting based on engagement data.
Maintain meticulous records in the CRM to track interactions, outcomes, and next steps for every prospect contacted.
Deepen your knowledge of the HR technology landscape to position Leapsome as a superior solution for driving organizational performance.
Monitor personal activity metrics and conversion rates to identify successful patterns and adjust strategies accordingly.
Engage with inquisitive prospects who view the sales process as a collaborative effort to solve business problems rather than a high-pressure transaction.
Contribute to the development of the sales playbook by documenting learnings and best practices for future team members.
Build a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape to articulate the unique advantages of the platform effectively.
Participate in internal discussions regarding product positioning and messaging based on direct customer feedback.
Track the performance of different outreach channels to optimize time spent on high-yield activities.
Report on a weekly basis to the team to review progress, share insights, and align on upcoming priorities.
Act as the primary point of contact for prospects during the initial discovery phase, setting the stage for successful sales engagements.

You are available to work in the hybrid model, including two days in the New York office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Practical notes
This role operates on a hybrid schedule requiring presence in the New York office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Lunch is provided in the office every Tuesday and Thursday.
The successful candidate must be able to start within the next 4-6 weeks.
A one-time work-from-home stipend of $1,000 is available to support the setup of a productive home office environment.
