About the role
Leap is seeking a Senior Technical Implementation Manager to lead platform configurations, integrations, and technical implementation initiatives. This role bridges the gap between technical execution and client success as you own the full lifecycle of complex implementations. You will lead end-to-end technical onboarding of new clients, from scoping requirements through go-live and beyond. The position requires translating complex business needs into scalable, repeatable technical solutions while maintaining strict attention to data integrity and compliance. You will partner cross-functionally with clinical, operations, data, and client success teams to remove blockers and align on outcomes. The role owns critical workflows including SFTP file setup, eligibility and claims processing, and prior authorization integrations. You will drive automation opportunities and process improvements that reduce manual effort and increase scalability. Success is measured by on-time, error-free launches and high client satisfaction with technical delivery. This position is responsible for documenting and standardizing implementation playbooks to support rapid growth.

What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end technical onboarding of new clients, from scoping through go-live.
- Configure platform setups, SFTP connections, and eligibility, claims, and prior authorization files.
- Manage QA of configurations and file processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Support customer relaunches, expansions, and platform updates.
- Serve as the primary technical resource for clients and their vendor partners during onboarding.
- Translate client requirements into scalable, repeatable solutions that align with Leap's platform.
- Build strong client relationships by proactively addressing technical issues and providing clear communication.
- Create and maintain internal documentation including PRDs, SOPs, and implementation playbooks.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities across file processing, data ingestion, and reporting.
- Partner with engineering and operations to improve workflows and reduce manual interventions.
- Lead remediation efforts for technical failures, performing root cause analysis and coordinating fix validation.
- Support Leap's growth by standardizing technical implementation processes across new and existing clients.
- Monitor success metrics including on-time launches, error rates, and automation coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure implementations are delivered on schedule and within scope.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Bring 3-5+ years of experience in technical implementation, SaaS delivery, or technical operations.
- Demonstrated background in healthcare or healthtech, with startup experience strongly preferred.
- Show advanced understanding of ETL pipelines, API integrations, HIPAA, and SOC 2 compliance.
- Prove knowledge of SSO, PHI encryption, SQL, and data ingestion processes.
- Have direct experience with file transfer protocols (SFTP), eligibility data, claims data, and prior authorizations.
- Possess prior client-facing experience in technical account management or implementation roles.
- Highlight previous exposure to project management methodologies and tools, with PMP certification a plus.
- Show familiarity with CRM and project management tools such as Hubspot, Salesforce, or Asana.
- Exhibit an analytical mindset focused on diagnosing data and integration issues.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent implementations under tight deadlines.
- Operate independently in a fast-paced startup environment while maintaining attention to detail.
