Key facts
What you'll do
- Collaborate with a diverse team to manage and execute drainage projects, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate project requirements and identify potential challenges.

- Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.

Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in drainage or utility services, with a proven track record of successful project management.
- Strong understanding of drainage systems, maintenance techniques, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in using industry-specific software and tools for project management and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety in all work activities.
Nice to have
- Relevant certifications in drainage or utility management, such as NRSWA or equivalent.
- Experience with CAD software or other design tools used in drainage planning.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainable practices in the utility sector.
- Previous experience in client-facing roles, enhancing customer relations and service delivery.
- Knowledge of project budgeting and financial management principles.
Skills & tools
Candidates should be proficient in using various tools and technologies relevant to drainage services, including inspection cameras, jetting equipment, and GIS mapping software. Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential for effective documentation and reporting. Strong analytical skills will be beneficial for assessing project requirements and outcomes.
