What you'll do

• Safely operate HGV vehicles to transport waste water and other materials to designated treatment facilities.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations while on the road and at job sites, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to load and unload materials efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

Requirements

• Valid HGV driving license (Class 2 or above) with a clean driving record.
• Experience in operating HGV vehicles, preferably in a waste management or environmental services context.
• Knowledge of waste water management practices and relevant regulations is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of health and safety standards related to driving and waste handling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and accountability.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and clients.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in emergency situations.
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy materials.
