What you'll do

• Lead the product vision and strategy for the accounts receivable product line, ensuring alignment with Bamboohr's overall business objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, sales, and marketing teams, to gather requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
• Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer feedback, and market trends, ensuring that the most impactful features are developed first.
• Work closely with engineering and design teams to define product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the accounts receivable space.
• Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback to continuously improve the product and enhance user experience.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries, providing updates to stakeholders and ensuring transparency throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to gather insights and feedback, ensuring the product evolves to meet their needs.
• Prepare and present product roadmaps and updates to senior management, demonstrating the value and impact of the accounts receivable solutions.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies that could affect accounts receivable processes and solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior product team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or product ownership, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing financial products, particularly in accounts receivable or related areas.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, financial regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar platforms.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with financial software or ERP systems commonly used in accounts receivable management.
• Experience in user experience (UX) design principles and methodologies.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools and techniques to derive insights from product usage.
• Previous experience in a startup environment or fast-growing company.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly desirable.
