What you'll do

• Lead the end-to-end design process for various products, from initial research and ideation to prototyping and final implementation.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions and improve user satisfaction.
• Collaborate with product managers to define product requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
• Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups that clearly communicate design concepts and user interactions.
• Develop and maintain a design system that ensures consistency across all products and platforms.
• Work closely with developers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and effectively, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in product design, incorporating new ideas and techniques into your work.
• Mentor junior designers, providing feedback and guidance to help them grow their skills and advance their careers.
• Participate in design critiques and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the design team.
• Collaborate with marketing and customer support teams to ensure that user feedback is integrated into future design iterations.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization, promoting a deep understanding of user needs across teams.
• Analyze user data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of design solutions and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, preferably within the fintech or technology sector.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, demonstrating your ability to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
• Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing, with a track record of applying findings to improve design outcomes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams.
