As the District Manager for Knix, you'll be at the forefront of driving sales growth and leading a passionate team toward exceeding our goals. You will own the full P&L for your portfolio, setting the strategic direction and holding the financial outcomes that define success in your region. You will shape the store culture by modeling our values, reinforcing standards, and ensuring every team member understands the impact of their role. You will partner closely with the Director of Retail Operations to translate brand vision into actionable plans that activate across your district. You will act as the key liaison between corporate leadership and store teams, bringing insights forward and driving alignment on priorities.

What you'll do
Lead the development and execution of store business plans to drive profitable growth across your assigned district.
Own and exceed store sales targets, margin goals, and inventory accuracy metrics for every location in your portfolio.
Champion the customer experience by auditing store execution, coaching teams, and removing barriers to service excellence.
Build a resilient, diverse, and customer-obsessed team by recruiting, selecting, and developing talent that reflects our brand promise.
Drive schedule optimization and labor productivity while ensuring compliance with labor standards and operational needs.
Analyze sales, margin, and footfall data to identify trends, opportunities, and actions that unlock performance in each store.
Partner with cross-functional leaders on merchandising, marketing, and brand initiatives to activate campaigns at the local level.
Champion a culture of inclusion, respect, and integrity where every colleague and customer feels seen, valued, and empowered.
Lead change management and continuous improvement efforts to streamline store operations and elevate the customer journey.
Represent Knix in the community by collaborating on local activations, events, and partnerships that strengthen brand presence.
Coach and mentor store managers on performance management, feedback, and career development to build a strong leadership bench.
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and loss prevention standards to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
Support the rollout of new tools, systems, and processes to modernize store operations and enhance the team experience.
Celebrate wins and recognize team achievements to sustain motivation and reinforce a high-performance culture.
Requirements
You must have a proven track record of successfully managing multiple retail locations or a comparable leadership portfolio.
You must have demonstrated experience owning and managing P&L, including sales, margin, labor, and inventory responsibilities.
You must have a strong background in retail operations, including visual merchandising, loss prevention, and compliance adherence.
You must have experience leading, recruiting, and developing teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
You must have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
You must be highly organized, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a dynamic setting.
You must be comfortable using retail technology systems, including POS and inventory management platforms.
You must be authorized to work in Canada and not require sponsorship for employment at this time.
Nice to have
Experience in the intimate apparel, lifestyle, or DTC retail sector is a plus.
Background in scaling retail footprints in the Canadian or U.S. markets.
Familiarity with Knix products or a strong interest in learning about them quickly.
Practical notes
This role is based in Etobicoke, ON, and may involve travel between stores in the district on a regular basis.
The successful candidate must be available to work full-time hours as required by store schedules.
