Full Stack Developer

About the role

Kinposselected is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join their team on a contract basis. The role involves building and maintaining web applications across both front-end and back-end systems. The developer will work within a collaborative team environment to deliver functional and reliable software solutions. This position is based in Mexico and requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders including product managers and designers.

What you'll do

Design and implement responsive user-facing interfaces using modern web development frameworks and standards

Build and maintain reliable server-side logic along with well-documented application programming interfaces

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that follows established engineering best practices

Collaborate closely with designers and fellow engineers to translate business requirements into working software features

Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks across the full application stack

Participate actively in code review sessions to ensure code quality and team consistency

Contribute to architectural decisions and technical discussions that shape the long-term product direction

Deploy applications to production environments and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines

Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for both internal teams and external partners

Optimize application performance, monitor system health, and ensure scalability under growing user demand

Coordinate with product managers to prioritize feature development and align on sprint goals

Refactor legacy codebases to improve reliability, reduce technical debt, and support future growth

Identify and implement improvements to application security practices and data protection measures

Mentor junior developers and share knowledge through pair programming and documentation efforts

Monitor application logs and metrics to proactively identify and address system issues

Ensure compliance with coding standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes

Support the integration of third-party services and APIs to extend application functionality

Requirements

Proven experience as a full stack developer with hands-on work across multiple programming languages and frameworks

Strong understanding of front-end frameworks including component-based architecture, state management, and responsive design principles

Proficiency in back-end development using server-side programming languages and designing RESTful service interfaces

Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and non-relational stores like MongoDB for data persistence

Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows in distributed team environments

Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively within a contract-based engagement model

Good written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with team members and external clients

A degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience is strongly preferred for this role

Experience with RESTful API design and consumption of third-party services and external APIs

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes for efficient release cycles

Nice to have

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for hosting, scaling, and infrastructure management

Knowledge of testing frameworks and automated quality assurance practices for continuous integration and validation

Background in agile or iterative software development methodologies with hands-on sprint-based workflow experience

Exposure to open-source projects or meaningful contributions to developer communities and shared codebases

Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices for web applications

Familiarity with performance profiling tools and browser developer consoles for debugging

Skills & tools

JavaScript or TypeScript for building dynamic and responsive front-end user interfaces

Python, Node.js, or similar server-side languages for back-end service development

React, Angular, or Vue for constructing component-based and reusable UI elements

SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB for data storage

Docker and container orchestration basics for deploying and managing application services

Git for source control, branch management, and collaborative code sharing workflows

REST APIs and GraphQL for building and consuming flexible service endpoints

Practical notes

This is a contract position with a defined engagement period and scope of work

The role is based in Mexico and is not a remote or work-from-home arrangement

Candidates should be prepared to work within the local Mexico time zone for meetings
