What you'll do

• Lead and oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and construction personnel, to develop comprehensive project plans.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project viability and identify potential challenges.
• Prepare and review engineering designs, calculations, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, providing regular updates to stakeholders on progress and any potential issues.
• Coordinate with local government agencies and regulatory bodies to secure necessary permits and approvals for project development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; additional certifications are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and design standards.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in managing project budgets and timelines effectively.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to civil engineering projects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience in sustainable design practices and green building certifications.
