What you'll do

• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to assist in the design and development of land projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports for land development projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project viability, including soil testing and environmental impact assessments.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, surveyors, and contractors, to facilitate effective communication and project execution.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules, monitoring progress to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
• Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed designs and models, enhancing project visualization and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in land development or civil engineering, with a focus on project management and design.
• Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of land development processes, including zoning, permitting, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Nice to have

• EIT (Engineer in Training) certification or progress towards obtaining a PE (Professional Engineer) license.
