What you'll do
- Lead and manage multiple projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to define project scope and objectives.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Facilitate regular project meetings to communicate progress, address challenges, and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction or engineering industry.
- Proven experience managing projects with budgets exceeding $1 million.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience with sustainable building practices and green project management.
- Familiarity with construction contracts and legal requirements.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations in Texas.
- Experience in managing remote or hybrid project teams.
- Multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are a plus.
