Senior Recruiter
Job description
About the role
Senior Recruiter, Learning Intelligence Technology
Kiddom is reimagining K-12 education by unifying curriculum, instruction, and analytics into a single platform. We are pioneering Learning Intelligence Technology (LIT), a category that delivers the infrastructure for schools to plan, teach, assess, and adapt to student needs. This role exists to help our organization scale by attracting and hiring top-tier professionals. The Senior Recruiter for LIT acts as a strategic partner, enabling execution of critical company objectives alongside the VP of Talent. Success in this position requires a high-collaboration, low-ego environment where ownership and a performance-driven mindset are essential.
What you'll do
You will lead complex hiring initiatives for LIT, owning the full lifecycle from defining needs to closing offers. This involves creating innovative sourcing strategies to reach passive talent pools that traditional methods miss. A core part of this role is leveraging networking, cold outreach, and advanced internet research, including Boolean techniques, to identify qualified candidates. You will manage the end-to-end search process for multiple positions, building and monitoring pipelines of both active and passive applicants.
A significant portion of the role focuses on engaging candidates through social platforms and personalized outreach, crafting messages that compel interest. You will serve as the search expert for LIT, deeply understanding functional requirements, role specifications, and success criteria. Collaboration with internal stakeholders is key to aligning on needs and providing the resources necessary for an effective search. You will also contribute to refining recruiting documentation and training materials.
Developing robust talent pipelines for future hiring needs is a primary duty. You will track and analyze key conversion metrics, measuring the flow of candidates from initial contact through interview to final offer acceptance. This data-driven approach ensures efficient conversion of passive interest into hired talent.
Requirements
Applicants must have a minimum of five years of progressive experience in business or technical recruiting within fast-paced environments. Demonstrated expertise in sourcing and engaging candidates is mandatory, including the use of social platforms and the construction of Boolean search strings. You must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of driving initiatives and building partnership-focused relationships.
A technical aptitude is necessary to quickly master edtech industry specifics, including competitors, current events, and relevant terminology. Comfort with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) is required. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, generating high-quality candidate flow even during urgent hiring sprints. You must be flexible, adapting quickly to multiple business units and shifting priorities.
The ability to learn new topics rapidly, becoming an effective generalist for diverse hiring demands, is crucial. You should be an independent self-starter who delivers consistent results with minimal supervision. High-level collegiality and the influence to work with leaders are required. Willingness to handle coordination tasks such as scheduling and travel planning is also necessary.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this position is $130,000 to $160,000 annually. Full-time permanent employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits from their first day of employment. These include a competitive salary package, meaningful equity, and health insurance options such as medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Retirement planning is supported through a 401k program.
Additional perks include One Medical membership in participating locations, flexible vacation time, and 10 paid sick days per year. Paid holidays and bereavement leave are provided. New parents receive a minimum of 16 weeks of paid leave, while caretaker parents receive 10 weeks, supplementing state benefits. Commuter and FSA plans are also available.
