What you'll do

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in water treatment design or a similar engineering role.
- Proficiency in engineering software tools, such as AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, or similar design applications.
- Strong understanding of water quality regulations and treatment processes, including filtration, disinfection, and chemical treatment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating initiative and independence.
- Familiarity with project management principles and experience in managing project timelines and deliverables.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site assessments and project meetings as needed.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with advanced water treatment technologies, such as membrane filtration or reverse osmosis.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and green engineering principles in water treatment.
- Previous experience working with municipal clients or government agencies on water-related projects.
Skills & tools
The successful candidate will be adept in various engineering software and tools, including AutoCAD, GIS applications, and hydraulic modeling software. Strong skills in data analysis and project management software will also be beneficial. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is essential for reporting and presentations.
