Compliance, Regulatory Operations
Job description
About the role
You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of Kalshi's compliance operations, ensuring that our regulated exchange and clearinghouse functions run smoothly and remain regulator-ready. You will design and execute monitoring and testing programs that provide clear assurance on regulatory adherence. You will own the administration of policies and procedures, ensuring they are current, accessible, and aligned with CFTC expectations. You will serve as the primary reviewer for all external-facing materials to prevent regulatory risk before publication. You will manage the integrity of employee training and attestations to maintain a culture of compliance across the team. You will build and maintain meticulous records and audit trails that support examinations and reporting. You will partner closely with Legal, Product, and Operations to interpret complex rules into practical internal controls. You will track and drive remediation of compliance gaps to ensure timely resolution and accountability. You will proactively support regulators during CFTC examinations and Rule Enforcement Reviews. You will evolve and create new compliance procedures as Kalshi's products and regulatory landscape grow.
