What you'll do

• Welcome customers as they enter the store and assist them throughout their entire visit
• Provide detailed information about home furnishings and related products available in the store
• Help customers select items that suit their needs and preferences for their living spaces
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor so products are easy to find and browse
• Process transactions at the checkout counter accurately and efficiently while handling various payment methods
• Build lasting relationships with customers to encourage repeat visits and long-term loyalty to the store

• Stay informed about current product offerings, seasonal promotions, and new arrivals in the store

Requirements

• Must be available for full-time work in a retail environment with consistent scheduling each week
• Strong communication skills in Danish are required, and proficiency in additional languages is valued
• A customer-focused attitude with genuine willingness to assist shoppers with their needs and preferences
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods during shifts and move around the store floor
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail setting with multiple tasks and responsibilities throughout the day
• Basic computer skills needed for operating store systems, registers, and internal tracking tools
• Team-oriented mindset with a cooperative work style and willingness to support colleagues when needed
• Genuine interest in home furnishings, interior living, and helping customers create comfortable spaces at home

Nice to have

• Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is a strong plus
• Knowledge of home furnishings, textiles, or interior design trends is beneficial in this role
• Experience working in a Scandinavian retail environment, especially with JYSK or similar brands
