Product Engineer
Job description
About the role
You will own the end-to-end delivery of customer-facing products that turn complex healthcare data into intuitive experiences for both patients and clinicians. You will design and implement features that make diagnostic workflows seamless, automated, and trustworthy across diverse healthcare environments. You will collaborate closely with domain experts to translate ambiguous healthcare requirements into robust, scalable software solutions. You will be responsible for shipping features that directly reduce medical costs and improve patient outcomes at scale. You will play a key role in connecting millions of data points from wearables and labs into a coherent, actionable diagnostic layer. You will ensure that every interface you build communicates intricate health information with clarity and precision. You will take pride in solving hard problems while staying pragmatic and focused on real-world usability.

- Conduct deep interviews with customers to uncover hidden needs and translate qualitative feedback into concrete product requirements.
- Own features across the entire stack, from frontend components to backend services and cloud infrastructure.
- Break down uncharted technical challenges in healthcare and convert rough ideas into production-ready software.
- Iterate rapidly on shipped features, using real usage data and customer feedback to refine the experience continuously.
- Navigate complex insurance systems and messy incentives to accurately model and reduce patient out-of-pocket costs.
- Design clean, well-documented APIs that allow partners to integrate diagnostics at scale across all US states.
- Champion a user-first mindset by ensuring healthcare interfaces are intuitive, accessible, and clearly communicate complex information.
- Work autonomously while coordinating effectively with engineers, product managers, and domain experts under tight constraints.
- Maintain reliability and performance for data streams that process millions of time-series events every second.
