General Manager - Short Pump Station

About the role

You are a strong leader who is dedicated to cultivating relationships within the studio and role modeling all of the qualities and attributes of an exceptional instructor. You are committed to the growth and development of your team and are passionate about sharing the brand and workout with others. You will undergo the JETSET Pilates training program to ensure alignment with the brand methodology and standards. You instruct an average of 8 classes per week while maintaining a visible presence in the studio. You are in the studio during class times for a minimum of 25 classes each week to support members and observe instruction. You are a multi-faceted leader responsible for all aspects of studio performance, growth, and people management. You are accountable for ensuring that all areas of the business are fulfilled and are driven by achieving goals. You continue growth and uphold the standards that define the Jetsetpilates experience for every client.

Monitor inventory and resource allocation to support efficient studio functionality and member satisfaction.

Facilitate open communication channels to ensure that team concerns and suggestions are addressed promptly.

Guide instructors through technique refinement and class preparation to uphold the quality of each session.

Track attendance patterns to optimize class offerings and maximize utilization of studio capacity.

Represent the brand in external partnerships to strengthen community ties and visibility.

Support the rollout of new programs and initiatives to keep the member experience fresh and dynamic.

Ensure compliance with all studio policies to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

Requirements

You are eligible for this role if you have a passion for leading people and driving operational excellence. You must demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and members. You are expected to commit to the physical demands of instructing and being present in the studio for the required minimums. You have the ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable plans for improvement. You are reliable and can maintain consistency in scheduling and performance expectations. You are prepared to invest time in training and development to master the JETSET Pilates methodology.

Nice to have

Experience in a leadership position within a fitness or wellness environment is preferred for this role. Familiarity with Pilates movements and terminology will allow for smoother integration into the team. A background in managing schedules or handling operational metrics is highly valued. Comfort with public speaking or group instruction is an asset for representing the brand. Experience in community engagement or marketing initiatives is beneficial for local outreach efforts.

Practical notes

This is a full-time position with a schedule that requires in-studio presence for a minimum of 25 classes per week. You will be expected to instruct an average of 8 classes weekly as part of your responsibilities. The role requires attendance during peak class times to ensure coverage and member support. Travel is limited to the immediate Short Pump Station area for studio operations. No visa sponsorship is available for this position at this time. The schedule demands consistency and reliability to meet the operational needs of the studio.
