What you will do
Chart partner routes to introduce IXL capabilities during school visits and community events. Map district priorities to tailor demonstrations, ensuring each educator sees immediate classroom relevance. Craft personalized proposals that align usage forecasts with budget cycles and decision-maker concerns. Host live workshops that showcase Rosetta Stone K-12 tools, driving teacher curiosity and classroom adoption. Coordinate cross-functional input so product feedback from schools shapes upcoming releases. Review pipeline metrics weekly, adjusting tactics to keep conversion paths clear and predictable. Ship enablement kits that equip teams with stories, data, and visuals for high-stakes meetings. Strengthen partnerships with associations and influencers so learning outcomes stay visible across regions. Maintain rigorous documentation of all interactions, ensuring that insights are captured and shared with internal stakeholders. Conduct discovery sessions to uncover pain points and position IXL and Rosetta Stone as solutions that drive measurable outcomes. Support forecasting activities by providing accurate pipeline updates and articulating risks tied to key opportunities. Represent IXL at community forums and local gatherings, building awareness around the value of data-driven instruction. Collaborate with customer success to identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts. Translate complex product features into tangible benefits that resonate with teachers, administrators, and procurement teams. Proactively seek feedback from educators to inform messaging, content, and product enhancements.
Requirements
You hold a BA/BS degree and bring three or more years of educational sales experience. Classroom familiarity or a related education background helps you speak authentically with teachers and leaders. You are comfortable operating inside web platforms, meeting stretched quotas, and applying energy under tight timelines. You demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast tempo. You have a documented record of closing deals while juggling targets, territories, and stakeholder expectations. You are comfortable working remotely while maintaining a high level of engagement with distributed teams. You understand consultative selling techniques and can adapt your style to different decision-makers. You are proficient in using sales tools and CRMs to track activity and outcomes. You are willing to travel within the Atlanta metro area for in-person meetings and events as needed. You comply with company policies regarding confidentiality, data handling, and professional conduct.
