About the role
Iterable is seeking a Partner Development Manager to join our Business Development team in London. You will manage and expand our relationships with key agency partners to drive growth and position our platform as the preferred solution for their clients. In this capacity, you will act as a strategic steward for our most valuable alliances, ensuring that the partnership delivers measurable outcomes for all parties involved. You will own the end-to-end relationship health of a portfolio of critical agency partners, identifying new opportunities for collaboration and expansion. The role requires a high level of commercial acumen to translate the technical strengths of the Iterable platform into compelling business narratives for partner audiences. You will be responsible for navigating long and complex sales cycles with professionalism and persistence to achieve set targets. This position demands a proactive mindset and the ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision while maintaining strict ethical standards. Success in this role will be defined by your ability to drive joint business growth and solidify Iterable's reputation as the leading choice in the marketing automation space.

What you'll do
- Establish and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders at technology and service partners to ensure mutual growth objectives are met.
- Develop and execute joint business plans and tailored value propositions designed to displace competitive platforms within partner client ecosystems.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external sales teams to generate high quality referrals and close new business opportunities efficiently.
- Achieve a deep working knowledge of multi-channel marketing automation and email marketing strategies to advise partners and their clients effectively.
- Translate complex technical concepts such as APIs and data integrations into clear business solutions that resonate with agency client decision makers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for partner escalations, managing long, complex sales cycles with resilience and adherence to ethical standards.
- Leverage CRM and project management tools to maintain meticulous records of partner interactions, progress, and key commitments.
- Identify and pursue incremental revenue opportunities by uncovering new use cases and expansion areas within existing partner portfolios.
- Represent Iterable at industry relevant events and partner meetings to strengthen brand presence and credibility.
- Provide feedback from the field regarding competitive landscape shifts and partner market trends to inform product and strategy updates.
- Coordinate cross functional support with product and engineering teams to address partner requirements and technical inquiries swiftly.
- Monitor the performance of joint initiatives against predefined KPIs to ensure targets are met and strategies are optimized.
- Mentor junior team members or partner staff on best practices in relationship management and solution selling.
- Maintain a high level of organization and prioritization to manage multiple partner engagements concurrently without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Professional background in technology, agency partnerships, channel management, or business development is essential for success in this role.
- A proven track record of closing deals within complex, long term sales cycles demonstrating patience and strategic thinking.
- Technical literacy regarding webhooks, APIs, HTML, and software integrations is required to communicate effectively with technical teams.
- The ability to travel up to 25% of the time is mandatory to build rapport and maintain presence with key partners.
- You must be a strong team player who is coachable and eager to learn to adapt to evolving partner needs.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are non negotiable for conveying intricate concepts with clarity.
- Demonstrated experience in managing high trust relationships with external organizations and stakeholders.
