Position Overview
This role centers on owning the full client lifecycle and team development within hedge fund accounting. You will make daily decisions that directly shape service quality and client outcomes through precise execution. Success requires strong self-drive to navigate complex reporting landscapes while managing relationships and delivering accurate, reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
You will design intake workflows to ensure daily and monthly activities align perfectly with fund operations and accuracy standards. Assigning tasks to fund accountants, you will oversee execution across annual cycles and critical reporting windows. The role involves rebuilding financial statements and books to support complex client operations and maintain absolute data integrity. You will chart valuation and reconciliation paths, meticulously tracking investment activity to satisfy strict investor timelines. Coordinating with auditors and tax advisors, you will verify accounts and streamline year-end processes and tax filings. Forming client partnerships that protect satisfaction, you will uphold service levels across every engagement. Guarding report accuracy through meticulous review and verification before final delivery is essential. You will champion process improvements that strengthen controls and support scalable fund accounting functions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
You bring a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance along with 4+ years of relevant professional experience and direct client-facing expertise. You apply strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and research skills to identify issues, solve problems, and deliver effective solutions. You communicate professionally through clear verbal and written communication while building positive client and team relationships. You demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintain exceptional organization, attention to detail, and accuracy in your work. You effectively manage priorities, meet deadlines under pressure, and take initiative as a proactive, goal-oriented team player.

The salary for this position will be dependent on experience and location, ranging from $88,000 to $110,000.
