This position involves direct collaboration with prominent private equity and hedge fund entities in the alternative asset management sector. The core mandate is to support these firms under the supervision of experienced professionals. Key responsibilities include the oversight of trade and position reconciliations, discrepancy resolution, performance computation, and comprehensive fund accounting administration. The role further encompasses client onboarding facilitation, team leadership, and serving as a primary resource for resolving intricate operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with client leads to establish and nurture robust relationships through proactive and direct engagement with multiple stakeholders.
- Cultivate a cooperative team dynamic by guiding junior personnel and contributing to structured training and professional development initiatives.
- Administer critical financial operations, including budget oversight, vendor management, cash flow monitoring, and meticulous record maintenance.
- Deliver advisory services on accounting topics to clients while directing interactions with fund administrators and providing support for audit preparations, net asset value assessments, and tax compliance.
- Continuously analyze and refine internal operational workflows to enhance execution efficiency and contribute to strategic client expansion efforts.

Essential Qualifications
- Possess an academic credential in accounting, finance, economics, or a closely related discipline.
- Accumulate a minimum of five years of professional experience within the financial services domain, with a focus on middle office functions and hedge fund environments.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of diverse financial instruments spanning both domestic and international markets, including equities, fixed income securities, derivatives, and foreign exchange.
- Exhibit superior analytical, accounting, and interpersonal communication abilities, coupled with meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to manage concurrent tasks efficiently.
- Show proficiency in advanced spreadsheet applications and specialized portfolio accounting platforms such as Enfusion or Geneva, alongside strong research and documentation skills.
Additional Desirable Experience
Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and associated considerations within the alternative asset services industry is advantageous.
