What you'll do
Orchestrate the design and delivery of large-scale, cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, and GCP that solve critical business problems.
Lead the technical discovery phase, challenging assumptions and defining the optimal target architecture with a focus on cloud economics and performance.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and shared understanding.
Design and implement robust automation frameworks using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform to accelerate delivery and reduce manual error.
Champion the adoption of Platform Engineering and SRE principles to build self-service platforms that maximize developer velocity and system resilience.
Define and enforce security and compliance guardrails, ensuring architectures adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Mentor and coach team members, elevating their skills in cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and modern application design.
Collaborate with the Commerce and Partnership teams to develop compelling technical proposals and proof-of-concepts that win new business.
Drive the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and testing strategies that ensure rapid, reliable, and secure software releases.
Evaluate emerging technologies and patterns, such as Serverless and Kubernetes, to determine their applicability and ROI for client projects.
Lead the creation of architectural documentation and decision records to ensure transparency and knowledge retention.
Act as a quality champion, applying the Well-Architected Framework to guide designs toward operational excellence and reliability.
Represent Ippon at industry events and internal forums, sharing insights and establishing the company as a thought leader in cloud transformation.
Continuously challenge the status quo, identifying process improvements and innovative solutions that enhance client value and team efficiency.
Requirements
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
You possess a proven track record of designing and deploying cloud solutions in production environments over several years.
You hold multiple advanced certifications from major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
You have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and automation tools.
You demonstrate deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
You are fluent in core DevOps principles, including CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and incident management.
You have a strong understanding of security fundamentals, identity and access management, and network architecture in the cloud.
You are comfortable working in agile, fast-paced environments and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Nice to have
Experience with FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization strategies.
Background in industries with high regulatory requirements such as finance or healthcare.
Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the technical community.
About the role
This position is embedded within Ippon's Cloud & DevOps practice, a collective of 90 experts across 9 French agencies. You will join a community recognized for its expertise in cloud public transformation, with extensive experience in migrations, modernization, and cloud-native delivery. You will leverage Ippon's certifications, thought leadership at major industry events, and proven methodologies (e.g., Well-Architected Framework) to deliver high-value solutions. Your work will directly contribute to client transformation initiatives, supported by structured learning paths such as the BlackBelt program, regular performance conversations, continuous training, and certification opportunities. You will have the flexibility to choose missions and evolve roles, whether as a Practice Leader, Manager Technical, or contributing to strategic initiatives within the Cloud&DevOps practice.
Requirements
