About the role
You are a DevOps engineer joining Theodo Cloud, the DevSecOps practice of Theodo group, and you will own the technical delivery of cloud infrastructure projects alongside product and engineering teams. You will design, build, and operate scalable, resilient, and secure cloud environments while adhering to strict industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will work hand in hand with a Lead DevOps and an Agile Project Manager during the build phase to ensure high-impact technical decisions for clients. You will also operate production infrastructures in the run phase, managing client portfolios, handling incidents, conducting post-mortems, and driving continuous improvements of platform reliability and performance. This role places you at the intersection of infrastructure, automation, and consultancy, where your work directly contributes to accelerating cloud migrations and strengthening industrialized digital platforms. You will be expected to grow rapidly in technical depth and leadership, shaping best practices and mentoring peers along the way.

What you'll do
Investigate and resolve complex production incidents, performing deep technical analysis and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
Own the technical post-mortem process, documenting root causes, impact, and remediation plans in a clear and structured manner for both technical and business audiences.
Translate client requirements into actionable infrastructure recommendations, balancing security, compliance, performance, and cost constraints.
Architect and decompose technical features that fit project constraints, ensuring deliverables meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations.
Implement and operate CI/CD pipelines, enabling safe, frequent, and reliable software delivery across diverse environments.
Deploy and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to maintain full observability and rapid response capability.
Guide clients on infrastructure strategy, helping them define target states and prioritize initiatives that maximize business value.
Build infrastructure from scratch, including network, compute, storage, and security components, using Infrastructure as Code principles.
Perform cloud migrations and Kubernetes transformations, ensuring smooth cutovers, data integrity, and minimal service disruption.
Champion DevOps practices and agile rituals, collaborating closely with product teams to align delivery with business outcomes.
Continuously explore new tools, patterns, and frameworks to modernize platforms and reduce operational overhead.
Optimize cloud cost structures and performance baselines without compromising reliability or security postures.
Act as a technical trusted advisor, translating complex cloud concepts into clear narratives for mixed audiences.
Support the improvement of internal platforms and tools, contributing to reusable components and developer self-service capabilities.
Requirements
You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in IT or a related technical field.
You possess solid experience in designing, deploying, and operating infrastructure in public cloud environments.
You are proficient with major cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, as well as with alternative and emerging cloud platforms.
You have hands-on experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
You understand Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar provisioning frameworks.
You are experienced with CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and automation practices and tools.
You have a strong grasp of networking, security principles, and compliance frameworks relevant to regulated industries.
You demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset under time pressure.
Nice to have
Experience with regulated sectors such as healthcare or finance, including frameworks like HDS or SecNumCloud.
Knowledge of LLM orchestration, prompt engineering fundamentals, and MLOps practices in cloud environments.
Familiarity with performance optimization, cost governance, and FinOps practices.
Exposure to self-built platforms, internal developer portals, and platform engineering concepts.
Practical notes
This position is based in Paris. Travel requirements are limited to occasional visits within the metropolitan area. No visa sponsorship is available for this role. The position is open to candidates who meet the outlined eligibility criteria and must be able to start within the timeframe requested in the application.
