What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on web applications, networks, and systems to identify security weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and execute advanced testing methodologies, including but not limited to social engineering, network exploitation, and application security assessments.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and tailor testing approaches to meet their specific needs.
- Prepare detailed reports that outline findings, risk assessments, and recommendations for remediation, ensuring clarity for both technical teams and management.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques to enhance testing strategies and methodologies.
- Mentor and guide junior penetration testers, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of continuous learning within the team.
- Participate in red teaming exercises to simulate real-world attack scenarios and improve incident response capabilities.
- Engage with clients post-assessment to assist in the implementation of security improvements and provide ongoing support as needed.
- Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks that streamline the penetration testing process and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with other cybersecurity teams, such as incident response and threat intelligence, to provide a holistic approach to security.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for potential clients, showcasing Integrity360's expertise and capabilities.
- Attend industry conferences and events to represent Integrity360 and stay connected with the cybersecurity community.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in penetration testing or a related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of security principles and practices.
- Proven experience with various penetration testing tools and frameworks, such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, and OWASP ZAP.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and web technologies, including an understanding of common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively when approaching security challenges.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or GPEN are highly desirable.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud security assessments, particularly in environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and application development methodologies.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks and standards, such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, or GDPR.
- Previous experience in a consulting role, providing security assessments to a diverse range of clients.
Skills & tools
- Proficiency in penetration testing tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for scripting and automation purposes.
- Understanding of threat modeling and risk assessment frameworks.
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
