Talent Acquisition Partner
Job description
About the role
Talent Acquisition Partner
Insomnia Cookies was founded in a college dorm room by then-student Seth Berkowitz. Today, the brand has grown into a global phenomenon with over 350 stores. This expansion is fueled by a dedicated team passionate about delivering warm, delicious cookies at all hours. The company culture is described as fun, entrepreneurial, and centered on a unique "sweet-easy" flagship experience.
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to lead recruitment for our bakery network. This business-facing role is critical for building teams that support our continued growth. You will operate guided by our core values of Dream Big, Stay Hungry, Do What's Different, and Bake to Perfection. The position requires close collaboration with Operations leaders to attract and hire exceptional talent for both salaried and hourly roles.
This position involves owning the full-cycle recruiting process for a variety of positions. You will be responsible for Bakery Managers, Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, Drivers, and Cookie Crew members. A key part of this role is developing creative sourcing strategies to build robust talent pipelines. You will plan and execute hiring events, open interviews, and community initiatives to ensure a strong flow of qualified applicants.
A major focus is driving applicant volume through diverse channels. This includes targeted outreach, employee referrals, social media campaigns, and local partnerships. You will use LinkedIn Recruiter to source and engage passive talent. Building and maintaining relationships with hiring managers is essential to understanding their specific needs.
You will serve as a trusted talent advisor, partnering with Operations leaders to understand workforce demands. This includes developing tailored recruiting strategies and guiding decision-making with data. Designing innovative sourcing playbooks for both active and hidden candidate markets is a core duty. You will also coordinate with Marketing to support employment branding and local campaigns.
Creating a consistently warm candidate experience is a priority from first contact to offer acceptance. You will manage the entire journey, ensuring clear communication and support. This includes hosting community nights and open sessions to connect with future partners. For hourly and leadership roles, you will ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.
The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously. You will track key metrics within our Applicant Tracking System to measure hiring effectiveness. Using data, you will refine processes to improve hiring speed and quality of hire. Ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations is a fundamental responsibility.
You will maintain all recruiting activity, candidate pipelines, and interview feedback in our system. Prompt and accurate communication with field leaders is necessary to minimize operational impact. Supporting new bakery openings and other strategic hiring initiatives is an ongoing duty. You will work closely with HR and Operations teams to ensure readiness.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Demonstrated success in full-cycle recruiting is essential, with a background in retail, restaurant, or multi-unit organizations. You must have proven experience recruiting for both salaried leadership and high-volume hourly positions.
Exceptional skills in using Applicant Tracking Systems are mandatory. The ability to build trusting relationships and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders is critical. You must be able to manage several searches at once while maintaining a high standard of candidate care. Strong ownership, urgency, and accountability are required.
Perks of the Position
This role offers the opportunity to be a major part of the company's next chapter of growth. You will join a culture that values energy, creativity, and collaboration. Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan. The position offers competitive compensation and a fun, cookie-filled work environment.
