Insomniacookies presents a new duty order for a Store Operations Manager at our Spokane, WA location. This is a full-time position responsible for the daily performance of one bakery at 922 N Division St. The role focuses on building a strong team culture and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Compensation & Benefits Overview
The compensation package for this position is designed to be competitive within the market. Base pay begins at $26.50 per hour. A monthly bonus compensation package is available to eligible team members. We also provide a $50.00 per month cellphone data plan stipend to support communication needs.

Core Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Store Operations Manager owns the full guest journey for the Spokane bakery. This involves hiring, coaching, and developing a diverse part-time hourly staff. The team includes Shift Leaders, Cookie Crew members, and Delivery Drivers. Success requires leading service components such as stellar food quality, engaging customer service, employee friendliness, and store cleanliness.
Establishing a culture of excellence is a primary duty. This culture must prioritize cookie quality, customer service, and sales performance. The manager supports personal growth and opportunity for all team members. Key operational responsibilities include managing and auditing inventory to maintain proper controls. The role also involves creating and executing fun, local marketing drops within the community. also, the manager will create and drive in-store recognition programs and contests.
Required Qualifications and Experience
We seek a candidate with 3+ years of management or leadership experience in a restaurant or retail establishment. Availability is required to work 2-3 mid-to-late shifts throughout the latter part of the week, specifically Thursday through Sunday. A benevolent leadership style is essential. The ideal leader operates with a player-coach mentality for day-to-day business management.
An innate sense of true hospitality is required. The manager must possess the ability to deliver exceptional customer service to all guests. Technical acumen regarding restaurant or retail business software is necessary. Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, MS Teams, and prior experience hiring employees using an Applicant Tracking System is expected. Familiarity with using commercial convection ovens is considered a plus.

Strong technical skills are required for restaurant or retail software, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams. Confidence in hiring staff and managing applications in an ATS from posting to selection is necessary. The role requires the ability to work safely around commercial convection ovens, respecting their heat and protocols.
