Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store to ensure only the best reaches our customers.
Deliver our cookies, milk and ice cream to our loyal fan base, in a timely and safe fashion, navigating city streets with care.
Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers whether in-person or by phone, making every exchange friendly and helpful.
Use Insomnia's delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers, maintaining transparency throughout each delivery.
Own your delivery zones by planning efficient routes that maximize speed without compromising safety or product integrity.
Maintain a clean and organized delivery setup, including your bicycle and packaging, to present a polished and reliable image at all times.
Communicate clearly with store staff to clarify orders, confirm pickup times, and resolve any issues before they affect the customer experience.
Adapt quickly to changing priorities, such as rush periods or special requests, staying flexible to meet team needs and customer expectations.
Monitor street conditions and weather factors to adjust your travel approach, ensuring every delivery remains safe and dependable.
Act as a mobile point of contact for customer questions, offering friendly guidance about our products and delivery process whenever needed.
Requirements
You must be legally eligible to work in the United States and provide documentation that confirms this eligibility at the time of hiring.
You must be 18 years or older to be employed, ensuring you meet the minimum age requirement for this position.
You must possess your own non-motorized bicycle in working order, as electronic bikes are not permitted for this role.
Your bicycle must be reliable and safe for city travel, with functional brakes, lights, and reflectors for night shifts.
You must have a smartphone with a working data plan to access the delivery app and stay connected with dispatch and customers.
Strong time management skills are essential, as you will need to balance multiple orders and strict delivery windows without delay.
Excellent organizational skills are required to keep track of order details, routes, and necessary supplies for each shift.
Knowledge of the 1-mile radius surrounding the store is a plus, helping you navigate efficiently and reduce delivery times.
