About the role
Innovid is seeking a Senior Director of HR to serve as the primary lead for all people-related functions across the EMEA region. This role balances high-level strategy with daily operational execution to support our global ad tech platform. The successful candidate will act as the main advisor for employees and managers regarding policies, development, and employee relations. They will manage complex employee relations cases using expertise in UK employment law and regional regulations while coaching managers to improve leadership capabilities across the EMEA region. This position requires a proactive approach to promote company culture and values to maintain a cohesive, inclusive environment. The role will leverage employee feedback and survey data to drive improvements in the workplace experience and support DEI initiatives to ensure equitable processes for all staff. You will be responsible for standardizing HR workflows and providing strategic support for organizational design, performance management, and succession planning.

What you'll do
- Serve as the central point of contact for EMEA stakeholders, interpreting business needs into scalable HR solutions.
- Resolve escalated employee relations matters with precision, applying in-depth knowledge of UK legislative frameworks and best practices.
- Design and deliver leadership coaching programs aimed at enhancing management effectiveness across diverse geographies.
- Champion cultural alignment initiatives that reinforce core values and foster an inclusive, high-performance environment.
- Analyze workforce data and engagement metrics to identify trends and implement targeted interventions.
- Advance diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives by partnering with business leaders on accountable, measurable strategies.
- Optimize end-to-end HR processes, ensuring consistency and compliance in organizational structure and talent programs.
- Conduct thorough audits of personnel documentation and HR transactions to verify accuracy and regulatory adherence.
- Oversee the complete employee journey from pre-join through separation, ensuring seamless transitions and positive experiences.
- Facilitate collaboration with Legal, Finance, and external advisors to execute cross-functional initiatives and mitigate risk.
- Provide expert guidance on compensation and benefits strategies to align with market standards and internal equity principles.
- Act as a change agent, driving adoption of new HR policies and technologies across the region.
- Monitor regulatory updates and translate them into practical guidance for managers and employees.
- Support the development of leadership pipelines through robust succession planning and talent review processes.
Requirements
- Bring a minimum of 10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or Director within multinational technology organizations.
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of UK employment law and current EMEA regional HR practices and standards.
- Hold a Bachelor degree in Human Resources or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Show a proven track record of managing complex projects and solving intricate problems with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills to influence senior stakeholders across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Be prepared to travel internationally as required by business needs and team commitments.
- Possess fluency in English, both written and verbal, to ensure clear communication with global teams.
- Have hands-on experience navigating matrixed organizational structures and driving initiatives without direct authority.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data and organizational information.
- Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
Skills & tools
- Expertise in HRIS/HCM platforms such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or BambooHR for managing employee data and processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools to support remote and hybrid team engagement.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools to translate people metrics into actionable insights.
- Experience with HR automation platforms to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of talent management systems to support performance, learning, and succession activities.
- Understanding of compensation and benefits administration tools to ensure competitive and compliant programs.
- Skills in conducting employee surveys and analyzing qualitative and quantitative feedback effectively.
- Experience with compliance management tools to track regulatory changes and audit readiness.
