Front-End Developer
Job description
About the role
The team builds user-facing features and interfaces for decentralized financial applications. This role collaborates with back-end engineers and designers to deliver high-performance user experiences in blockchain contexts. You will own the implementation of complex user flows that directly impact how traders interact with decentralized markets. The work involves translating intricate product requirements into robust and accessible interfaces that function reliably under real-world conditions. You will partner closely with designers to ensure pixel-perfect execution while maintaining the performance constraints of blockchain environments. A significant portion of the role involves debugging intricate issues that span the interaction between the user interface and on-chain data. You will be responsible for ensuring that the interface communicates clearly and efficiently with the back-end services powering the exchange. Your contributions will be visible in production applications that serve a global user base operating in high-stakes financial scenarios.

Practical notes
This role is remote-friendly with flexible hours and operates under equal opportunity employment standards. Equipment and a home office stipend are provided as part of the package. Typical interview steps
Hiring for engineering roles usually starts with a recruiter screen, followed by one or two technical rounds. Candidates often solve a coding problem, discuss past projects, and answer system design questions. Some loops include a take-home task. Final rounds typically cover team fit and give candidates a chance to ask questions. Interviewers look for how you break down an unfamiliar problem, not just whether you reach the answer. Practicing a few problems aloud and reviewing your own past projects are the best preparation.
