Ingotbrokers is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) for the Jordanian market within the MENA region. What you'll do
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans tailored to the Jordanian market, aligning with Ingotbrokers' overall objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential clients and partnerships, to enhance market presence and revenue streams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the financial services landscape in Jordan.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to create compelling proposals and presentations that resonate with potential clients.
- Represent Ingotbrokers at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our services and establish a strong brand presence.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
- Lead negotiations with clients to close deals, ensuring favorable terms that align with company goals and compliance requirements.
- Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the business development team.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and innovations in the financial sector, leveraging this knowledge to enhance service offerings and client engagement.
- Participate in the development of marketing strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness and generating leads within the MENA region.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in all business development activities.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the financial services industry, preferably in the MENA region.
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring new clients and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the financial markets, investment products, and regulatory environment in Jordan and the broader MENA region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive mindset.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
