What you'll do
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and develop mechanical systems and components that meet project specifications and client requirements.
- Conduct detailed engineering analyses, including thermal, fluid, and structural assessments, to ensure the integrity and performance of designs.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including design calculations, specifications, and reports, to support project deliverables.
- Utilize advanced CAD software to create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance project outcomes and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support the testing and validation of prototypes, analyzing results to inform design iterations and optimize performance.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and components, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Assist in project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns, sharing knowledge and fostering their professional development within the mechanical engineering field.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to maintain a competitive edge in mechanical engineering practices.

Requirements
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and analysis.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, with a strong portfolio demonstrating design capabilities.
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.
- Experience with simulation tools for finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach complex engineering challenges methodically.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and present technical information to stakeholders.
- A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies within the engineering field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
