In this role, you will bridge the gap between artificial intelligence and practical application. You will ensure that AI workflows are tailored to meet the needs of maintenance planners and other professionals, translating complex AI capabilities into clear, actionable insights for our customers. You will act as a representative for customers before they engage with our solutions, utilizing your expertise in a specific industry or function. You will collaborate with sales to clarify the real-world implications of our AI offerings, helping clients understand their value in tangible terms. You will maintain relationships with customers post-pilot, assisting them in adapting and enhancing their workflows as their needs evolve. You will ensure that customer feedback directly informs the evolution of our AI product suite, creating a closed loop between implementation and innovation. You will champion the practical application of AI within industrial contexts, focusing on how these technologies solve real-world operational challenges. You will be a conduit between the technical capabilities of our AI and the strategic objectives of our clients, ensuring alignment and value realization.

What you'll do
- Analyze complex industrial data sets to identify patterns that inform the development of targeted AI solutions for maintenance and operations.
- Translate intricate AI model outputs into clear, visual narratives that resonate with non-technical stakeholders in manufacturing and utilities environments.
- Design and execute interactive demonstrations that showcase the practical benefits of AI workflows to potential clients during the evaluation phase.
- Partner with engineering teams to validate the feasibility of integrating new AI features into existing enterprise software platforms.
- Conduct deep-dive sessions with pilot customers to uncover latent requirements and refine the user experience of AI-driven tools.
- Develop detailed documentation that outlines use cases, success metrics, and implementation guidelines for AI features within the IFS ecosystem.
- Monitor the performance of deployed AI solutions, gathering quantitative evidence to support continuous improvement and optimization.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops that align product, sales, and support teams on the capabilities and limitations of our AI offerings.
- Act as a technical advisor during the sales cycle, de-risking client decisions by providing objective assessments of AI fit for purpose.
- Curate best practice libraries that highlight successful AI adoption stories and standardized methodologies for workflow enhancement.
- Evaluate emerging AI techniques and assess their potential applicability to the specific needs of IFS customers in the asset-intensive sectors.
- Lead the creation of ROI models that quantify the financial and operational impact of AI implementations for maintenance planning teams.
- Serve as a domain expert in discussions with C-level executives, articulating the strategic value of AI in digital transformation initiatives.
- Continuously iterate on customer journey maps to ensure the AI experience is intuitive, efficient, and aligned with real-world workflows.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a relevant domain such as energy, utilities, manufacturing, aerospace, or a function that spans these sectors like Finance, HR, or IT.
- Proven familiarity with AI products, capable of shaping workflows and evaluating model outputs.
- Strong pre-sales skills, able to communicate complex ideas simply and connect them to business outcomes.
- A consultative mindset, ensuring customers gain insights about their operations from every interaction.
- A data-driven approach, supporting claims with evidence and proactively seeking necessary information.
- 4+ years of relevant industry or functional experience.
- Demonstrated experience with AI technologies.
- Familiarity with AI workflow design and evaluation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze and present data effectively.
We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience, from four years to over twenty, as long as you can authentically represent the personas we design for.
