In this role, you will be instrumental in revolutionizing industries that rely heavily on assets through the implementation of AI-enhanced solutions. As a Senior Product Manager, your focus will be on managing products that improve asset value, reliability, and operational performance, while also reducing risks and costs throughout the asset's lifecycle. Your background in project-based settings, especially during shutdowns and turnarounds, will be crucial as you work to weave agentic AI into these critical processes.

What you'll do
- Develop a comprehensive product vision and roadmap that aligns with specific, measurable goals, including asset availability and maintenance expenditures. Create compelling business cases to drive growth in both traditional and AI-enhanced revenue streams.
- Engage in extensive customer discovery sessions with executives in maintenance, reliability, and capital planning to pinpoint challenges and refine project scopes, resource allocations, and budgets.
- Seamlessly integrate agentic AI into project workflows to improve decision-making processes, optimize scheduling, and dynamically adjust plans in response to changing conditions.
- Oversee the complete product lifecycle from initial concept through to market launch and scaling, ensuring cohesive collaboration among Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
- Articulate distinct value propositions for customers in asset-intensive sectors and assist in pricing, packaging, and product launches while tracking adoption metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and iterate on product features based on user needs and market trends.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform product strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate internal teams and customers about new product features and enhancements.
- Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging team members to share ideas and contribute to product development discussions.
- Analyze product performance data and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and enhance user satisfaction.
- Lead initiatives to enhance customer engagement and retention through innovative product features and enhancements.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in Product Management, specifically within SaaS, platform, or enterprise software environments.
- Deep understanding of shutdowns, turnarounds, or significant capital projects in the context of Enterprise Asset Management.
- Familiarity with maintenance and reliability operations, with direct experience in one or more of IFS's core sectors, such as Aerospace & Defence, Energy, Manufacturing, or Telecommunications.
- Proven capability to formulate and execute product strategies that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Practical experience in customer engagement, solution prototyping, and validation processes.
- A successful history of guiding products from concept to market while demonstrating clear customer value.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively manage various stakeholders.
- A data-driven mindset for decision-making, leveraging analytics and evidence to shape strategies.
- A keen interest in AI technologies and their potential applications in the industry.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with asset management standards (e.g., ISO 55000) and asset data structures such as work orders and asset hierarchies.
- Experience with developer platforms, application frameworks, or enterprise applications that utilize AI/ML technologies.
- Previous involvement in commercial aspects like pricing strategies or profit and loss management.
- Experience in working within global organizations and collaborating across diverse regions.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in product management tools and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with project management software and collaboration platforms.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and their integration with product management processes.
