About the role

The VP, Assurance Ecosystem leads the design and implementation of strategic initiatives that drive sustainable growth and market leadership for Ibility's Assurance line of business. This executive role is responsible for shaping the vision and execution across audit, financial management, policy, compliance, organizational design, governance, risk, and internal controls. The hire will own the end-to-end strategy that transforms client challenges into innovative, human-centered solutions that delight customers and enhance federal mission outcomes. They will act as both a trusted advisor to government leaders and an intrapreneur within Ibility, building partnerships that reinforce trust and long-term satisfaction. What you'll do

Develop and execute a multi-year growth strategy that defines the direction and scalability of the Assurance Ecosystem.

Build and manage a high-performing business development pipeline that advances opportunities from initial qualification through award.

Lead proposal strategy and solution design, ensuring alignment with complex federal requirements and client objectives.

Establish and nurture executive-level relationships across federal agencies, industry partners, and strategic alliances.

Identify emerging market trends and translate them into new service offerings that expand Ibility's Assurance capabilities.

Represent Ibility at industry conferences, public forums, and client meetings to elevate the brand and demonstrate thought leadership.

Provide executive oversight for all Assurance engagements, monitoring delivery performance, quality, and client satisfaction.

Standardize delivery methodologies, quality controls, and continuous improvement practices across the Assurance portfolio.

Collaborate with Ibility's Insight and Transformation Ecosystems to design integrated solutions that address multifaceted client challenges.

Recruit, develop, and retain top consulting talent, ensuring the Assurance team has the skills and depth needed for sustained growth.

Create clear career paths, coaching frameworks, and feedback systems that develop consultants at every level.

Champion professional certifications, ongoing education, and communities of practice that strengthen technical excellence and innovation.

Build reusable methodologies, frameworks, accelerators, and intellectual property that improve efficiency, consistency, and quality.

Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, automation, analytics, and AI to enhance the delivery and value of assurance services.

Promote a culture of innovation, learning, and disciplined execution that aligns with evolving federal priorities and regulatory landscapes.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

A minimum of fifteen years of progressive leadership experience in consulting, assurance, financial management, or related fields is required.

At least five years of experience in a senior management or executive role leading a practice area or service line is mandatory.

Demonstrated success in developing and executing growth strategies for federal consulting services is essential.

Proven ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships with government clients and key stakeholders.

Experience in proposal development, solution design, and capturing new business in a professional services environment is required.

Strong knowledge of federal compliance, audit, risk management, and internal control frameworks is necessary.

The ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical, client-focused solutions is essential.

Candidates must have experience leading high-performing teams and developing talent within a consulting or services organization.

A commitment to ethical practice, sound judgment, and delivering results with integrity is non-negotiable.

Nice to have

Experience in Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business or Woman-Owned Small Business environments is preferred.

Knowledge of human-centered design principles and their application in federal consulting engagements.

Familiarity with emerging technologies such as automation, data analytics, and artificial intelligence as they apply to assurance services.

Background in building reusable methodologies, frameworks, and intellectual property for consulting practices.
