About the role
You will own the entire sales cycle for Hudu, driving opportunities from initial outreach through to closed-won deals with precision and consistency. In this capacity, you are responsible for managing both inbound interest and outbound prospecting efforts to build a robust and predictable pipeline. You will conduct discovery calls that uncover critical business workflows and document management pain points, positioning Hudu as the ideal solution. A core part of your daily work involves delivering compelling, tailored product demonstrations that highlight the unique value of the platform for IT teams and MSPs. You will leverage emerging AI capabilities to refine your prospecting strategies, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance communication effectiveness. Collaboration will be central to your success as you partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless buyer journey. You will continuously analyze your performance metrics and market feedback to iterate and improve your sales approach over time.

What you'll do
- Analyze existing sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for pipeline optimization and target account expansion.
- Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with technical stakeholders to map current documentation workflows and identify areas where Hudu provides clear value.
- Design and execute tailored product demonstrations that directly address the specific operational challenges faced by MSPs and IT departments.
- Build and maintain a multi-stage pipeline using CRM tools to track engagement, forecast revenue, and prioritize high-intent opportunities.
- Utilize AI-powered research techniques to gather contextual insights about target accounts before outreach, improving personalization and response rates.
- Draft and send strategic follow-up communications that nurture leads, address concerns, and move deals closer to closure efficiently.
- Partner with the marketing team to align sales activities with campaign initiatives and ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
- Translate complex product features into clear, business-focused outcomes that resonate with both technical and executive-level decision makers.
- Represent Hudu in competitive deal reviews by articulating distinct advantages over other documentation and workflow platforms in the IT space.
- Document every interaction in the CRM to maintain accurate records, enable smooth handoffs, and support forecasting accuracy for the organization.
- Collaborate with customer success to ensure smooth onboarding transitions, reinforcing the value delivered during the sales process.
- Monitor industry shifts and competitor movements to keep the sales team informed about evolving market dynamics and product expectations.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing customer accounts by uncovering new use cases and adoption pathways for the platform.
- Contribute feedback from the field to product and marketing teams to influence roadmap decisions and messaging improvements.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or demonstrate equivalent professional experience and knowledge.
- Bring 2-4 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or other customer-facing roles that require relationship building and consultative approaches.
- Show a clear history of working in SaaS environments or selling solutions to technical buyers within the IT sector.
- Exhibit a strong, active interest in AI and its applications, specifically regarding how it can transform sales processes, prospecting, and communication workflows.
- Demonstrate familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce, including best practices for data hygiene and pipeline management.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify sophisticated product capabilities for diverse audiences.
- Be highly detail-oriented with disciplined follow-up habits, ensuring that no opportunity falls through due to oversight or disorganization.
