Flutter Engineer
Job description
About the role
This position is centered on owning the complete lifecycle of our external applications as a Flutter Engineer within the high-performing external apps engineering team at HUDU. You will be responsible for architecting and delivering new features directly inside our production Flutter and Dart codebase, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience across both iOS and Android platforms. A core part of this role involves building and maintaining Dart console applications for our Radar product, which includes Windows services that securely interact with native operating system APIs. You will act as a cross-functional partner, translating complex product requirements and UX designs into robust, responsive mobile interfaces while collaborating closely with our Rails and Hotwire backend teams. The role requires deep involvement in the full software development lifecycle, from initial design and implementation through thorough testing, constructive code review, and ongoing performance optimization. You will be expected to contribute to architectural decisions that impact the long-term reliability and scalability of our mobile and console applications. Ultimately, you will own the technical execution that enables our IT and MSP customers to manage their environments confidently from their mobile devices.
